ex-Yank you are quite right about the 1600 km2. Near the time of writing the post a mindset had taken over. I had just finished reading some material from 2002/3 where Conquest exercised its pre-emptive rights to pick up the tenement from a MIM subsidiary. Then it was 750km2, however nowadays Mt Carlton is 1600km2.
The point remains the same though - Silver Hill is a tiny fragment of the overall tenement, and GF International are exploring the turf beyond
Speculating ahead a bit, I'll bet London to a brick this round of deep drilling shows SH continues at depth. Which then raises another question - We don't really know how deep GF have been drilling. Rather, just a few things about their obligations
