I believe that it was double digit originally but that was only specific to a particular treatment/use of TA.

My understanding was that it was then re-negotiated down into single digits when the license was expanded into a usage/treatment within a much bigger market.

For this deal with Oculus, wouldn't the license to Alcon need to be novated? If this is the case, wouldn't Alcon need to agree? Maybe this has highlighted the value of the Alcon royalities to other parties who like the IP.
