    I always thought that QE was fundamentally about covering up the insolvency of the US and European banking systems and presenting their collective root-up and greed-fest leading to the GFC as a liquidity issue only. I think there are some monetary impacts from this mega-stealth bank bailout, I mean QE program as well. Could be wrong though.
