BT, there's a few scenarios why the announcement but it could be what a lot of companies do and that's to "throw the dog a bone" meaning keeping us interested and the price buoyant while waiting for results which they know are sometime to come. They don't want a lower base for us to climb from or go back on when results are announced. It sure didn't go the way they wanted . Frankly I forgot about Pardoo while we focused on the Lithium so its a good reminder and good they're thinking about it and not betting the farm on Nevada. Also I regard them as being slack with number of announcements especially with such important play making activity happening so maybe they've been listening to the noise on HC and emails and calls and are raising their game. In a nutshell WHO KNOWS. I'm holding till stage 1results.
