How about this - they know that the TI results look very very promising !!!
They know they will need extra funds to complete an even more comprehensive drilling program to flesh out the true extent of the available deposits.
They know the sooner they jump onto the extended exploration program the sooner the market will get excited and the share price will rise.
Short version is - They know they are sitting on a heap of gold - lets mine it and sell it while the gold price is high !!
