someone stole our copper

I've noted a few posts about stolen copper, so thought I'd fess up about where the name SSOC comes from. Someone stole our copper (SSOC). When I was joining Hotcopper my sole purpose was to track AVB posts. The name hotcopper and the fact I was tracking a copper stock influenced my choice of name. So I recalled a time when I was buying solid copper. Someone stole about $1000 worth scrap value at the time and we were later investigated as suspect copper thieves ourselves as we were trading in copper. It was a time of my life I learnt copper, like gold, can be as valuable or in some cases more valuable than cash.

That is probably one of my top three reasons I am in this stock.
