Thanks for the question - I think it is worth spending time looking at what happened with CAP. It was certainly a take-over interest of Conglins as it appears NTU is.
Of note is that Conglin did a lot of his buying-up in April - several months before his offer.
What I do remember is that the SP certainly seemed to be capped prior to the options expiry. Then it went bunta just after.
This time around we don't have options close to expiry. Though we do have a rights issue so how that affects things I don't know. Another big difference is that we could well have more than just Conglin interested in NTU.
I'm certainly going to sit tight on my NTUs and ride the wave. I'll watch it closely though, as soon as I see any signs of the share price being pushed down then I'm out. My experience says the SP ends up being what Conglin wants it to be.
