I'm more inclined to believe that there was a large T3 trader expecting the ann by today at the latest - and couldn't afford to hold any longer. (Hung on till the last hour)

Once some smaller selling started, stops would have been triggered.

I really hope we see a pre market announcement or trading halt to lock out the sellers, and then a massive gap up on open!!! (Would take a very good ann)
That would be perfect - and yes, I think Smyth is a pretty smart cookie!!! lol....

Let's face it - the timing of announcements is only important to traders - not investors.
