Not suggesting for one moment we write off the Insce sector.
Just that if you want to punt with an Insce stock then expect volatility as their P/L path will not be as smooth as with the Banking sector.
Barring some enormous global tragedy the Insce sector blue chips, such as QBE, will be around for a long time. For as you say, they have the pricing power to pitch premiums to cover their risk.
