I would think a bird flu pandemic would be the last thing we need (besides the obvious humanitarian reasons) in a pandemic do you think gov's would respect patents the US gov threatened to break a patent w.r.t anthrax when the US was having white powder letters delivered everywhere Relenza would be produced and once they started it it would be very hard to stop unlicenced manufacture even after pandemic eases..
