I hope their absence signal their employers have accumulated sufficient shares and don't need their creative writing skills any more.

As for shorters, I doubt they need to worry about short covering should share price soars after Nov 11th. My guess is that a good number of shorters are also on payroll of major brokers/pharmaceutical companies, and thus won't be financially disadvantaged even share price rocketed.
Their bosses would have more than enough shares in hands to hedge against their losses.

Don't have any proof. Just my silly opinion!
