I’ve been a banker for 40 years and I haven’t ignored the debt, I already briefly addressed my views on the debt when responding to you in a previous post - but given you’re obsessed with the debt let me spell it out for you in more detail

I am of the firm belief that the debt will not be called in whilst there are real prospects materialising for the underlying assets securing the debt to appreciate, and as a result could even see the debt repaid via either production and / or refinance

what’s the point of calling in a debt that will crystallise a loss when in fact there are real prospects for repayment if you give it time

if there were zero prospects for the debt to ever be repaid then it would have been enforceably called in already

also whilst ever MKR are able to continue to be able to raise ongoing capital the prospects for eventual debt repayment are enhanced, especially in a rising precious metal price environment

now you can continue to ignore this fact, but the lenders won’t

sure the lenders don’t like the current situation (loan in arrears) but “I believe” they will continue to hang in there whilst ever MKR can continue to raise capital to operate

another fact - the lenders are already first in line for MKRs assets if the pin is pulled, so why not wait especially in a rising precious metal price environment where the value of those assets continues to appreciate

there have been plenty of examples in the past where loans have been in arrears but the debt was eventually repaid

if memory serves me correct News Corp almost went to the wall in the 1980s, and look at News Corp today - thriving

”opportunity comes past every day, few people see it, and even fewer act” and I believe MKR is one such example
