It's all done and dusted, Mr Gordon. It's not meant to be a specific set of prophecies for every generation, 2000 years and more after the event to keep beating themselves up over, to keep speculating over. Let it go and try and live up to the principles that Jesus taught, not what religious bodies teach.

Every generation makes the same claims. Surely you must question this? Your own religion has had to twist and stretch and mangle these prophecies to fit their own beliefs, just like every religion before your mob has done. It's nonsensical to imagine that the major themes of these prophecies have not come to pass after all this time.

The end of the systems of things is the end of an era and the beginning of a new era. Nothing to do with the end of the world. Clearly the Christian era is over. All those prophecies have come and gone.

Your own religion grew out of the great excitement in America that produced the Millerites, Mormons, Jehovah Witness, Seventh Day and many other smaller religious groups. It was all centred around the return of Jesus in 1844 and because it didn't happen they way they had interpreted the Bible they all gave up and formed their own religions.

So prophecy either happened in 1844 or it didn't, either way there is no prophecy for Jesus to return, or for God to get involved after 1844.

I'm sorry to tell you that you can have WWI and WWII as your Armageddon, but that's it. Well over a 100 million people died in those wars and just as many lives where ruined and cut short. You'll have to make do with that as your end of world, Armageddon.

Just let it go mate, this stuff is no longer relevant. Find something that is relevant to the needs of this age, not the Bronze Age.
