They guess and imagine themselves into an apoplectic state so that their tiny-minded god becomes a front for their own life grievances and they project their own inadequacies onto this imaginary god, he is going to end the world and take out everybody who ever hurt them, laughed at their stupid religious beliefs, stepped on their toes, or would not open the door when they tried to sell their idiot religions door to door.
I thought the Popes speech was pretty damn good and I'm a serious critic of the Catholic church. I think the Catholic church has committed enough atrocities upon humanity that it should be forced to close its doors and be deregistered as a religion, but that's my take on their rampant pedophilia and a thousand other crimes against humanity.
How tiny and pathetic this god who worries about which day of the week is the Sabbath, or which day the world should take off and rest their donkeys. This is why religion today is of no use to humanity. Each little group hugs its prejudices to its chest and won't look for common ground or respect of anybody else's belief.
As far as, Humanitarianism, is concerned, well, everything we imagine about god, what he wants us to do, etc, is all pure imagination. Nobody who has ever lived has a clue as to the nature of God. But if there is a God then you can be sure that, Humanitarianism is very high on His agenda, because it belongs to the real world, in real time and has tangible outcomes. Whereas debating the intricacies of Biblical laws has no positive human consequences, apart from causing more disunity in a world where unity is the only thing that can save us.
