Hi Recyug I guess i'm expecting ARD sp to fall by around 8c on the 28th March when it goes ex. I'm treating the USN distribution as a dividend. and when it goes ex the price falls. but it generally rises prior to that and i think we saw that happen last couple of days.
The repricing of the options is explained in the expanatory statement part 1.7 in general meeting/prospectus announ. of 19th jan. and the directors give the figure of 18c. I dont think i was alone in thinking this was not a fair decision as it made the options a poor investment esp with a july 2011 exp date. One of the directors thought so as well!- he sold.
I think most here are expecting ARD to fall to 15-18c ex USN. So why would you buy ARDO at say 3 cents with a strike price of 18c (ex) and they (ARD) look like trading around 16c? with only a small time value? doesn't work for me. I've also thought of what could give this a kick along. after 28th March its only the progression of Kempfield. The price of USN could surprise on the upside. As well as Bullant it got its other projects.
