I should just point out pretty important point about the statement they released.
One key phrase really stands out:

"In response to speculation in various market forums"

Where in actual fact it should have been a response to:

Note to Vocus management, WE DID NOT START THIS "Speculation"!

Ps: small fact that it wasn't actually speculation that the legal proceedings were happening, the only speculation was the effect on the companies bottom line, which in actual fact was caused by management not keeping the market informed.

Pps: this may well have been the cause of the substantial drop of the shareprice and hurt the shareholdings of the very people who they have singled out as the source of the speculation!
