I've sold shares at a loss before to raise money for a buy in elsewhere even though I knew in the long run they'd come good. It's just that I knew I was going to be better of on the share I was buying into. It payed off for me those couple times so I'm happy. Some out there may be feeling the same on some hot tip they received.
