Interesting article from yesterdays Courier Mail in Brisbane.
LOCAL chief executive Michael Gray is clocking up more frequent flyer points than Richard Branson.
Grey, the CEO of the Brisbane-based Bandanna Energy, has been busy jetting between Brisbane, the US and Korea lately, chasing the mighty investment dollar and just stepped off a plane from America this week.
The one-time Macarthur Coal executive wants the loot to develop Bandanna’s $900 million Springsure Creek underground coalmine in the western Bowen Basin and it looks like he’s getting closer to fulfilling his ambition. Watch this space.
The company’s market cap is now about $60 million and for an explorer they are a tad different — because they have about $100 million in the bank.
