Health care maybe also with price so much more expensive because companies ie insurance are taking the money out of the system for profit rather than the benefit of health.
Twenty claims price goes up . Same as all insurance in for profit which is fair enough but does it lead to higher prices .Perhaps the benefit of not having universal healthcare becomes a burden. Share holders company eruptives dividends all take away from the pool of money that provides the care.
But twenty claims in universal health price remains the same.Same treatment no cost to shareholder profit no company ceo missing out on his rewards.Same doctor treats you same service one cost more because a level has attached itself for profit. Not the health care industry workers but people like you and me who invest to make money and demand returns.
Maybe im wrong . But never underestimate the power of lobby and marketing. Just look at the price of a bottle of water for example .You can sell anything if you got the right marketing .The fraudster that shows up here all the time who did the diet tea is proof of that .
And you will have people defend it strongly till death if you get it right.The fear of being wrong is powerful once you have purchased something or made a decision and you dont want fight that fear.
Peer pressure as well and im sure private health can get a roll on very easily with that little legislation hand.The fear one is good though .

Imagine paying private health for twenty years and the year you want use it the company went bankrupt? Not sure if we have built in protection for this but we lost two pillars of a six pillar system and those two were insurance.The four left are still around growing strongly.
