Treefeed and everyone else I suggest you read the document associated with the proposed HK listing. I think it is on around page 70 or 90 somthing. The details of the opex and current price for Li (all contained in the document) indcates the whole mining/plant operartion returns about ~$8 million profit for a ~$90 million pa operating cost. Thats a pretty slim profit margin in the mining industry. The recent cash grab IMO is so they can operate for a year or two while they get the plant finished and working,get customers happy with the product and most importantly get a (hopefully) rise in the Li price. If you think a huge cash grab at this stage doesn't add up, what about the SP, it is 20% above the placement price. This is blatant SP manipulation. I would not be suprised to see ASIC being asked to look into the whole thing some time next year IMO. DYOR.
