I don't believe it's a done deal. The Chinese could delay the process themselves and avoid paying the 80m extra. Not long to go now. I'm sure they can wait another 6 months.

From what I can tell, the Chinese will not lose the project, unless there is something in the original agreement saying they need to make every effort to obtain the mining permit. I wouldn't buy based on the expectation of receiving the extra 80m.

Then again, I could be interpreting the wording incorrectly. However, if the words above are correct, then it seems pretty clear to me.

Btw, this has been discussed on this forum before and I have been of this opinion from the get go (although it's probably been over a year since I posted).

It doesn't mean the share isn't cheap though. After the Lady Annie sale announcement, I'm seriously considering buying back in.
