I think you have sumed it up fairly well.
Have been accumulating on the lows over the last month. At some point the tide will turn and QBE will be favored by Mr Market, in the meantime the 7.5%+ yield looks like a sustainable and enjoyable meal while I patiently wait for the cycle to reverse.
Certainly appears better value to me than chancing a hot sector such as the mid cap miners.
One to buy and forget IMO.
