    Well I have been having some interesting experiences with some of my other stocks and they have led me to think long and hard about what makes good and bad biotechs in spec land - assuming they have worthwhile products or science. I found this article very interesting -

    So would be interested in your thoughts.

    I am leaning towards thinking that the approach at PYC over the past 12 months aligns with a lot of those lessons so I have some patience with their approach. It seems to be working with a commercially/legal focussed leader at the Chair level - possibly operating as an exec chair but I just think things will happen more systematically and be well told if there was a full time CEO. I think the engagement at Board level with serious cred on the science side has been a big plus but when I look at the Board I'd like to see either another finacially savvy member or a CEO with that strength. It could be a 'sciencey type' but my conclusion across other experiences aligns with this linked article - ie let the scientists be scientists and the commercial types run the company part.
