I think it's pretty standard and i doubt it changes despite board restructure but the company has never been open about when partners walk or contracts lapse. I think Janssen was the only of 5 big pharma deals that they actually updated the market when it was handed back - and there was a pretty good give in that after the date lapsed then update a week or 2 after. It's been really hard to read with the other deals when they've lapsed without an update as the company continued to list them as "partners" on both the website and in presentations for months/years after. Not implying roche/genentech round 2 is out just going back to past instance you might never really know until it happens good or bad. Think theres still plenty of time on it but in saying that i think the longer the wait the less convincing it is they've found what they want.
