I've noticed there are an increasing number of young indigenous reporters for the ABC from various parts of the country, whether on the news or other gigs. As a whole, or better without exception, they are doing a great job, present well and its great to see.
Now I don't know whether these kids have dragged themselves up by the bootstraps or came from average Australian backgrounds, but whatever it's a great leap forward for this society.
