Yes the govt employs aboriginals ahead of any other applicant...if you have ten people and the aboriginal meets the criteria the other 9 will not get a look in
Its standard govt policy at most govt organizations im aware of.
Its good for inclusion but it means you dont get the best person for the job ie if you were in private sector you would not employ your staff this way
