Advertisement AdvertisementJubilee Mines has suspended operations at the Cosmos Nickel site in Western Australia after the death of a Byrnecut Mining employee.
A man died from natural causes on Wednesday after working in the Helene Decline development, almost 4km south of the Cosmos Mine.
The suspension of activities came out of consideration for the well-being of other employees and contracts at the site, the company said.
Police have attended the site on Wednesday and Jubilee has notified the Mines Department and other relevant authorities of the incident.
