The stores I have visited recently (SE Qld) are all similar. What concerns me is that they have 3-4 cash registers in a line, but only one is needed! Andre somehow must make changes so that customers want to shop there. Above him he has to beat K Mart and Big W on price and similarly below shops like Daiso (most things $2.80), Bargain Mania, Bargain City etc. I think advertising and product is the key. May need bigger stores too! Look at Bunnings in particular.
