Rasaj, we are talking about public companies. Look at the top performers on the ASX - CBA and CSL. They were some of the first with their results. When you have good results you want to let everyone know. Friday will be a deluge of also-rans! It seems to me that there will be surprises in the half years - quite possibly further store closures etc.
