Mittal bids $22.7Bill for no. 2 steelmaker Arcelor SA to create a world giant in steel. This is what was in the wind ... they have had earlier discussions .... but now its out - they have made their play public. This probably puts a spanner in the works of Arcelor as they were eying another /others... perhaps not BSL ... BUT - This will likely excite the imaginations of many, as to what other plays could be blowing in the wind ...
