BPT showed their hand and are not a trustworthy JV partner IMO and showed no respect to the DLS team.
In this game you build up a reputation which can be destroyed in seconds and take years to reestablish. Things are changing on what is acceptable and what is not - yes even in the big bad world of business which I am sure many people who claim they are in business don't really understand what it is. And no I am not saying I know everything about business either.
Quite a simple circumstance for me, BPT are not worthy and are not the only fish in the pond although by the way people talk about them they must think they are.
