i have to say i agree with yo-yo
mine is not a degree in accounting
(sohk - translation: school of hard knocks)
but i have rung a number of directors, many of whom are very helpful...
a company can dig something up and not have it shipped to market until the boat sails
in that case, they won't be paid and the incoming receivables will not be reflected in the books until that product has not only sailed but been paid for
meanwhile, the cost of digging up product IS in the books
perhaps this is what you are seeing in whatever it is you are seeing
may i politely suggest you check with the company?
