Yes the Nigerian Goverment stopped iron mining years ago .
But maybe not for the reasons you are alluding to .
They spend many millions putting in the infrastructure, why would you do this if you had not drilled a few holes first .One normally puts the fencese up first before you buy the cattle .
If you read the reports you will see that Goverment had a lot of problems back then with its various departments not working properly, and as you may have noted in a previous post they had money problems as well .
These are the reasons the iron ore industry was put on the back burner .
Like many other countrys including Australia they need out side help to get their iron ore industry up and running.
I might add they seem very keen to do this and they do not have a poli named BROWN any where in sight.
