Australian scientists cash in..


"It's hard to imagine an Australian-invented technology that has had a greater impact on the way we live and work,'' he told The Sunday Age.

Their technology is now estimated to have been used in more than 3 billion electronic devices globally, including computers, printers, game consoles, TV sets and phones.

CSIRO's invention lies at the heart of the technology used in Wi-Fi hotspots.

Let's hope CFUs fuel cell technology which stemmed from CSIRO R&D also make it as big as WIFI has worldwide.
