I don't agree with the accusation that Badinvest is making about Alistair Reid. False accusations are worthless.
However he is right when he says that if Reid knew something wasn't right on Irvine he wouldn't tell anyone.
I remember the CEO of an Australian oil exploring company that was lucky to strike oil off the coast of Africa with their first well, he resigned not long after for health reason, a few months later he got involved with another company and no sign of ill heath.
We found out later that all was not as good as we were made to believe with their tenements in Africa, and the share price halved.
I'm sure this is not the only sad story where directors sell out for self beneficial reasons, and mostly use the ill health excuses.
My main reason to hold PLV long term is because of Tony, he appears to by a hard working honest CEO.
