No buyer depth to speak of and we know that the big sellers are sitting off screen just ready to hit when any buyers show their faces.
AFR stated this morning that GMG could have a big writedown of intangible assets and in a seperate article states that industrial properties are set for a 20% writedown in value. All of the above can affect its banking covenants which will probably mean a cut back in distribution.
However, I would have assumed that all of the above is factored well and truly in the price and it is just fear from lack of disclosure that is driving the price down.
Writedowns do not affect the income earned by the Trust.
