something seems a little odd here...

I'm no expert trader - far from it, but over the years when news such as this is announced, shares spike pretty quickly and in many cases hold steady.

Both DTE and Igas have dropped before climbing slightly and this seems a bit strange in my ignorant opinion. It's a major step for both companies so why the negative impact??

Hopefully one of you seasoned experts can enlighten me!
