GNS could announce a JV or asset sales any day now but on a balance of probabilities basis I decided to exit out of GNSPA today. I will keep a close eye on proceedings and reenter should the opp arises.

I think nothing major will occur until EU debt issue is once and for all sorted (looks like early Nov).

If Greece is allowed to default and then booted out of the Euro (the option which makes the most sense on paper - see Russia 1998 or argentina 2001) then we can expect a tailspin in markets but ironically, this could be the only way to make the global system stronger. It would also allow Greece to devalue their currency and become competitive hence begin a sustainable recovery.
