Holders have to vote for or against delisting. It depends on the numbers. A company called AKF just voted against delisting. If a company remains listed, the public market can be tapped for funds, but if it delists, at least they can't tap you. I reckon delisting for BRM would be a long way away, but it's an ugly threat, nonetheless.
