So short activity took 7M shares off the market which should be a plus for stock price, We could argue how much but remember if you decide it is insignificant than the same percentage has to be applied to the up side. Stock price June 1 AUD 2.10 on the 25th AUD 1.90. Now how can you blame shorts for that? I did not pick the 25th date it is last date ASX has released info for.

Now everybody likes to blame computer trading and in fact that is how all trades are done. In fact some of the trading is from big houses using AI that looks for patterns and trade quickly. Why do people on most boards always assume these algorithms always cause down motion but only logical slow investors are responsible for up side. Programs may very well get ahead of you costing you a few cents on both buys and sells. But what proof do you have they cause continuous down pressure? I have never heard any proof except 'everybody knows it is true'.

Unless you have carefully determined what a fair price is for your self how do you have any idea what stock is worth? My guess is you think it is worth more because everybody on the board says so.
