    Its called pump and dump - put meaningless rumours everywhere in the media, pump up the price - then flog your holding in the excitement.

    I accept I may be totally wrong in this case, but the odds favour my view. I do however think GFF is quite possibly undervalued.

    Private equity is in a permanent state of looking at out of favour stocks like GFF. Doesn't mean they will stump up.
