"Not so whereu Oilburner is correct

the sacrifice made by Christ is perfected not redundant. If God was hung up on a tree and it was dependent upon man's decision, the creatures own actions whether he decided to take up the offer or not then the work on the cross provided only a potential for salvation rather than being completed the work of atonement."

It appears that you don't get it either RM. If your fate is predestined before you where born it simply means that it (your fate) is sealed before your where born. This means that there is nothing you can do to change your fate.

It's not rocket science, but a dilemma for those who claim predestination (your fate already determined) and that your fate is determined by exercising an option after your birth by making a faith decision. You simply can't have both positions.

PS I am aware of the doctrine of "bending your knee etc" so no need to explain it (to me at any rate).
