re: strat//arttse.. I am sure many people don't quite understand cool energy, what it has to offer and the two key areas they initially set out to address...
From my files...an old story, but one which really gained my attention at the time.

Cool Energy is hot property

A joint venture between Curtin University and Woodside Energy has produced an innovative transportable refrigeration system that uses Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) Micro-Cell technology developed in Curtin laboratories.
The Joint Hydrocarbon Research facility was established at Curtin University in 2001 with $600 000 in funding from Woodside, which included the establishment of a Chair of Hydrocarbon research.
Dr Robert Amin, Chair of Hydrocarbon Research and the mastermind behind the LNG Micro-Cell technology, said that interest has been shown worldwide in the technology.
The LNG Micro-Cell is a cost effective, efficient way to quickly convert natural gas into LNG while removing contaminants such as heavy hydrocarbons and carbon dioxide. Smaller gas fields, which were avoided, now become viable for exploration with this technology as the gas can be converted on site.
“The new process is a far more economical way of converting gas,” Professor Amin said.
“The relevant laboratory techniques do not exist anywhere in the world to re-create the conditions under which natural gas is liquefied, and this new equipment should fill this gap."
The technology also has the potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in oil and gas-producing areas of the world, both by increasing the use of natural gas as a cleaner alternative to other energy sources and by liquefying, rather than flaring off, gas.
The company commercialising the LNG Micro-Cell technology, Cool Energy, is in the process of raising capital to fund the production of a commercially viable 20 tonne unit. Micro-Cell technology, at a larger scale may be a perfect replacement for conventional gas pre-treatment technology.

I have highlighted what for me are perhaps the most relevant passages.
Current focus is on the trial facility, which is being viewed as an alternative pre-treatment solution...but I think many have lost track of the fact that one of the initial aims was to bring smaller non-commercial fields into economic contention.
Something to think about perhaps?
Cheers!
