The inaction was due to an incompetent Board, perhaps they just procrastinated too much or were looking for something that was unattainable?? Whatever the reason they are now gone or will be, given shareholder approval of the deal (that's how I read the announcement anyway). That in itself should be great news for long suffering shareholders! They've also committed to an exploration campaign immediately following approval of the deal.
