have you wonder why the federal govt have waited until imu has made the h5n1 vaccine candidates and secured an off shore testing arrangement before they decide to hastily hand over $ 880 000 ?
dont you think the money should have come earlier?
If the h5n1 vax works and a little known aussie biotech developed such an amazing vaccine and had to go all the way to the USA when there is a level 3 containment lab at csiro sponsored by the govt; who would have egg on there face?
The feds have got a sniff that this is going to work and it will be huge so they have jumped on the wagon at the last minute so they can gain some political mileage on the back of a huge announcement that will arrive in late january 2007
lets face it the option scenario will eventuate and imu will be trading above $1 soon
