Rio don't want FMG. I lke FMG but it has a few issues for miners. Quality of ore, scraping method of harvesting, bloated corporate, debt, etc.
Also, RIO have a history of paying too much which is good for FMG if takeover but bad for RIO shareholders who would not be in the mood given the current share price.
