Hi Brian53, I guess people throwing around these types of market caps when we are valued at $30m seems crazy, but with good trial results, or a bigpharma buy in, it really isn't.
I stubbled across a company called Celldex. I find them interesting as they had a deal with Pfizer for their glioblastoma vaccine. Pfizer pulled their funding and their collaboration with them in 2010 and their share price plunged to around $150m. They decided to go it alone and are now in PIII. Today they are worth $2.4 billion.
Anyway, interesting that Pfizer threw out a perfectly viable program because they didn't think it was worth the risk, in spite of promising early results. They gave back the rights to Tacere and TT-034 just 4 months later.
