I feel more than 'slightly surprised' that both lots of directors didn't have a clear enough view of the road ahead to the merger to avoid running over a cliff as has now happened. What kind of blinkered optimism has led us to where we are now and how much of PLT's precious cash has been squandered on this wild goose chase? As I think back to our intrepid CEO's admonition, only a couple of months ago, that PLT holders would be well-advised not to sell their shares, it beggars belief, doesn't it? Or is that too harsh a judgement? If so, I'll be glad to hear why so.
