The resident Muslim population would continue to live their lives and contribute to Australia.
I haven't heard any serious plan to deport all Muslims, merely to ensure that the future immigration is halted.

Australia has no problem at the moment with 2% Muslims population. France has a massive, deadly, problem with 10%. The plan is not to let Australia become France.

Given that there are hundreds of thousands of Christian men, women and children living is refugee camps in the M.E. after being driven from their homes by violent Islamism there would be no logistical problem with favouring them for the next 5 years. After that we can re-assess the European situation.
