I have been looking at Sonic SVM ($SONIC) recently, this one seems to be an interesting part of the Solana ecosystem. It is made for gaming and wants to improve scalability for on-chain game economies while keeping speed and cost low. The project uses Solana’s SVM (Sealevel Virtual Machine) to offer a fast experience for gaming, which might help it stand out from other blockchain options.
What interested me is the ability to launch EVM-compatible dApps on Solana using Sonic’s HyperGrid tech. This could help developers from other chains move to Solana more easily than before. Additionally, they included monetization tools and a testing environment for developers, likely bringing in more projects to Sonic.
I also saw it is also been listed on the **promotion blocked** Innovation Zone, which may give it more visibility in the market. While listings aren’t everything, it still shows some positive movement for the project.
The main concern, however, is whether it can gain traction. Can Sonic establish a foothold in the crowded blockchain gaming market?
